We will have chicken in time for Memorial Day weekend!!!

I’m excited to announce we will have chicken in time for Memorial Day weekend!!! We will be open on the Saturday before from 11 am to 5 pm so you can pick up delicious chicken for your grill. We will have plenty of parts available as well as whole chicken. If you haven’t had our chicken, pick some up, you won’t be disappointed! If you joined our CSA this season, pick-up will also be Saturday. 2023 UPDATE: Pyrenees Puppies Now Have Forever Homes!

We are pleased to announce that we had a litter of Pyrenees puppies available for sale. These beautiful and fluffy puppies have found their forever homes. We were asking $800 for each puppy. The Great Pyrenees was bred to be a livestock guard dog for the farmers in the Pyrenees Mountains of Europe. For more information on the Pyrenees breed read here. Our eggs are self-serve which means you can come anytime to purchase them, ANYTIME . Our egg cooler sits right off Old Hanover Rd. We have a nice big driveway for parking. Inside the cooler, you will find beautiful fresh eggs packaged in dozen boxes, in a variety of colors, blue, green, brown, and tan. You will also find a jar with change. Help yourself, just put your cash in the jar, and if you need it there is also change in the jar. Our Chicks are Growing Nicely!

Our chicks are growing out nicely. They are enjoying the fresh grass and warm sunshine, all happy peeps here. We also picked up another flock of chicks yesterday. As time goes we try getting better and more efficient. This year we are trying a few different things. We hope to grow them out a tad bit bigger than past years but still hope to have a nice variety of sizes. It’s always about constant improvement. I’ve never wanted to be competitive with fellow farmers only with my past self. That’s the only way that makes sense. Only about 5 weeks until fresh chicken again!

Exciting Day for My Broilers

It was an exciting day for my broilers yesterday, they got put out on pasture. This mild, early spring has been beneficial to us. Every year I’m always so concerned with the first batch, but this year I’m not so much. They will do great!
