Milling Wheat Berries Workshop 

 

We are now signing people up for our February 1st, 2025, workshop! This is a hands-on workshop. 😊

👩‍🌾 It will be held at Faithful Friends Farm on February 1st from 10 until 2 pm. Please allow a little extra time, it sometimes runs over (but I’m not expecting it to this time).

🌾 We will start the class by milling wheat berries into fresh flour. You’ll get to see the process up close and learn what makes fresh-milled flour so different from store-bought.

🥖 Next, we’ll learn how to bake healthier products using the flour we just milled. We’ll go over tips for using fresh-milled flour successfully, plus how it changes flavor, texture, and nutrition.

💛 We will also talk about the benefits of adding fresh-milled flour to our diets and why so many people notice a difference when they switch.

🍽️ Then we will have lunch. During lunch, we’ll have Q & A and discuss whatever you all would like to talk about.

👥 It’s always a super fun and informative day. We always make new friends, and you’ll go home having learned something you can actually use. It truly is a great experience.
