About This Workshop

Come spend a hands-on day at Faithful Friends Farm learning how probiotic foods are made—and why they matter. We’ll start with fresh milk, then make yogurt together. You’ll also learn the basics of kombucha and sauerkraut, plus the health benefits of adding these foods into your diet.

What We’ll Do

• Milk the cows together (hands-on for anyone who wants to learn)
• Make yogurt using fresh milk
• Learn how to make kombucha
• Learn how to make sauerkraut
• Learn the health benefits of probiotic foods and how to use them at home

You’ll Take Home

• Yogurt cultures
• Your own kombucha SCOBY

FAQ

Do I have to milk a cow?
Nope. Milking is optional. You can watch, learn, and still participate in everything else.

What should I bring?
Dress for the farm: closed-toe shoes/boots recommended, layers, and clothes you don’t mind getting a little “farm-ish.” If you want, bring a notebook.

Is this beginner-friendly?Yes — this is designed for beginners. You’ll leave knowing the steps and the “why.”

Will we eat or sample anything?
Possibly (if you plan samples). If you’ll be serving samples, add a quick note like: “Samples provided. Please let us know about allergies when you sign up.”

Are there allergies to be aware of?
This workshop includes dairy and may include cabbage/fermented foods. If you have allergies or sensitivities, text or email before signing up so we can advise.

Is there parking?
Yes, on-site. Follow any posted signs when you arrive. (Adjust if you want a more specific instruction.)

What if the weather is bad?
Farm workshops are weather-dependent. If weather forces changes, we’ll notify you by text/email with the plan (reschedule or alternate setup).
